Søren Kjærulff, Founder & Chief Executive Officer

CEO of Lactobio and also a co-founder of Fermbiotics. Former Senior Director of Biopharma R&D at Novozymes AS, responsible for leading biology research within anti-infection and anti-inflammation.

Holds Ph.D. in molecular biology from University of Copenhagen and is author of several peer-reviewed papers and inventor of several granted patents.

Charlotte Vedel, Founder & Chief Operating Officer

COO of Lactobio and former CTO of Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability. Formerly Vice President of IP, DuPont Nutrition & Health and has longterm experience as R&D manager and scientist in microbiology and antimicrobial compounds.

Holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from the Danish Technical University and is author of several peer-reviewed papers and inventor of several granted patents.

Jan K. Villadsen, Chief Financial Officer

CFO of Lactobio - Jan has been an executive finance professional for many years both as CFO in biotech companies – Gubra ApS, NatImmune and Neurokey  – and as Treasurer in Group 4 Falck A/S.

In addition, Jan has held several senior positions in the financial sector primarily in investment banking and capital markets operations. Has two Graduate Diplomas in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
