Staphylococcus aureus & MRSA

Lactobacillus plantarum LB244R® is a Gram positive lactic acid producing bacterium. It was specifically selected because of its ability to inhibit the growth of pathogenic Staphylococcus aureus including Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and the CC1 pathogen. 

Diseases often associated with Staphylococcus aureus:

  • Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
  • Rosacea

Cutibacterium acnes

Lactobacillus plantarum LB356R® was specifically selected for its ability to co-aggregate with the pathogenic ribotypes of Cutibacterium acnes and thereby inhibit the growth of pathogenic Cutibacterium acnes and biofilm formation resulting in acnes vulgaris.
